As a writer, I’m particularly interested in friendship, queerness, and the labor movement. My essays and poems—voice-driven, often collaborative—have earned recognition and appeared in publications such as Foglifter, Gulf Coast, and Split Lip.
I am represented by Ashley Lopez at MMQ&A.
I have an MFA from the Ohio State University, where I was nonfiction editor of The Journal; an MA from Middlebury’s Bread Loaf School of English, where I was a Ken Macrorie Fellow; an MAT from Smith College, where I was a Project Coach Fellow; and a BA from Brown University.
I live in Lenapehoking/Philadelphia, where I teach in the city’s public school district and organize for social and climate justice in my union. All power to the people!
